Communications / Development Director
Are you enthusiastic about developing relationships? The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf seeks an energetic, creative and detail oriented development professional with a passion for the mission of the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf.
The Communications / Development Director will be responsible for researching, developing and strengthening annual fund activities through a variety of solicitation methods including donor relations, direct mailing, social media, special events and foundation grant writing. In addition this individual will monitor grants, produce the agency newsletter and other publications, coordinate media activities and assist in capital campaign management.
If you have a Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years of non-profit development and grant writing experience; strong computer and social media skills; and a proven track record of development success, we would like to hear from you!
